Driving Directions and Maps to Gulf Highlands

Panama City Beach could be called a "Vacation Hub" as it is well within comfortable driving distance from many metropolitan areas, such as Atlanta, GA (270 mi), New Orleans, LA (245 mi) Mobile, AL (140 mi) and Nashville, TN (400 mi) and attracts visitors from all over the United States and Canada. By Air
Panama City has an airport that has the code (PFN). It is about nine miles from the resort in Panama City Beach. The estimated driving time is 18 minutes.

Coming in May of 2010 a new airport will be opening north of the bay called the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. Look for inexpensive fares on Southwest Airlines.

If you are relatively close to “The World’s Most Beautiful Beaches,” here are some easy directions to get you to Gulf Highlands Resort in Panama City Beach.

From the west: take Interstate 10 to Hwy 79 and go straight south to Hwy 98.
Turn left onto Hwy 98 and then turn right at the light for Bechrich Road (renamed R. Johnson)
Turn left at the next stop light, which is Middle Beach Road or HWY 392
Gulf Highlands entrance will be one block down on your right.

From the east: take Interstate 10 to Hwy 231
Take Highway 231 South to Highway 20 West
Travel 27 Miles to Highway 79 South
Turn left on Highway 79 and go 16 miles
Turn left onto Hwy 98 and then turn right at the light for Bechrich Road (renamed R. Johnson)
Turn left at the next stop light, which is Middle Beach Road or 392
Gulf Highlands entrance will be one block down on your right.
