Gulf Highlands Clubhouse on the beach

Some of our favorite walkable restaurants near the resort.

Pineapple Willys (Walk over to the beach, look at the pier to your left...that's it. (Energetic people can walk down the beach and back). It's relaxing to eat on the pier with the waves washing below you.

Saltwater Grill this is across the street from the Gulf Highland front entrance on Middle Beach Road and two blocks to your right. A little more upscale in dress and price.
They have a huge room size aquarium that is great to stand and watch. Good food too.

Applebees This is right across from the post office. Walk or drive out the Tonya lane gate and it's across the street on Churchwell Drive. See where the post office is on our map.

Pompanos Restaurant good seafood, just behind Wal-Mart at 10292 Front Beach Road.
Pompano's has a beautiful lakeside view that is perfect for both casual and fine dining. They are open Tuesday through Sunday at 4 p.m. Phone (850) 233-9080.

Favorite restaurants to drive to in Panama City Beach.
Treasure Ship Here's a restaurant that is shaped like a huge wooden ship. You can sit outside and watch the sports fishermen come in with their catch. It's fairly casual and the food is good. Not expensive.

Favorite restaurants over the bridge in Panama City.

Panama Java is a coffee shop with a fun atmosphere. They serve cappuccino and expresso too! Located in downtown Panama City at 233 Harrison Avenue. 850-763-8220

Uncle Ernies restaurant is in a yellow victorian house sitting on the water's edge of St. Andrews Bay. A little upscale, home brewed beers, delightful food and good views of boats on the water. Another good place to catch a sunset. Phone: 763-8427

Canopies
